A Syllabus?

Yesterday, I posted about personal branding.

Yesterday, I shared thoughts on personal branding—how it’s both the easiest and hardest thing you’ll ever shape, because it lives in every single action you take.

While you can try to control it, there will be times where others don’t receive you in the way that you receive yourself nor how you want to be received.

You are the only person with you every moment of your life. Only you know the full you.

This post is part of a larger curriculum to help you, my dear friend, struggle just a bit less than I have in learning lessons that will impact your life - enabling you to live much more intentionally.

As I was lifting today—this is the second place that I have shower thoughts—-I had a realization. I had put together a syllabus for the personal branding portion of my course.

A syllabus. A SYLLABUS.

I am trying to reshape the education system and I am creating a syllabus to my course?

My goal is not to teach facts. My goal is to inspire action and how else can I dissuade my audience from taking action more than providing them with an incredibly involved curriculum that encourages them to dive deep right out of the gates?

I get analysis paralysis when given small amounts of information. How am I going to inspire users to take action when I am falling into the traps of what modern education is?

Furthermore, I am using AI to help me refine and structure my content.

While AI is a great tool, AI’s machine learning isn’t capable of thinking and adapting as well as we humans are. How do I expect it to shift an education system away from the education system that is feeding its algorithm currently?

Am I not the free thinking being in this situation? Do I not need to be the one creating the curriculum and directing it in the direction of what is important and what I need to refine and then allowing people to help shape and redirect the future content?

While a syllabus can be helpful to showing people what they are going to learn along the way, I was about to have AI guide me and tell me what is important when at its core, I need to break down the content to its most basic level to inspire action.

I will undoubtedly dive in deeper into each section of content and provide more tools but I do not want to inundate people right off the bat. I want them to get enough information to take action and for them to explore what taking action feels like prior to returning for more information.

This gym thought will help serve as a guide for the way I create content for you.
