Distracted
I have allowed myself to become progressively more distracted with something that will mildly contribute to my outcomes.
I have a nice gaming rig that I am able to do everything that I need to in pursuit of my goals, yet I have been researching buying a MacBook Pro.
My temptation comes from my lost $900 gift card that has mysteriously vanished into the ether.
I have confirmed with Apple that it hasn’t been used but they refuse to replace it so I am lured into a tricky game of hide-and-go-seek.
What’s more is I can get another $700 gift card to Apple through my Amex rewards.
It’s not my favorite way to spend points, I’d rather just have cash back and plan to close the card prior to its renewal, but it could help me replace my laptop that I don’t really enjoy working on.
But all of this is just a distraction to me actually working on what I need to do.
I need to edit videos. I need to get my course up and running.
Yet I’m sitting here.
Distracted.
